Tallink Express Hotel will reopen in May 2026 after a complete renovation. The three-star hotel, still offering friendly prices, will feature a fresh and cozy look along with a range of smart self-service solutions available to guests 24/7.
The renovation will thoroughly update the entire hotel concept, taking into account the changing needs and preferences of today’s travelers. A wider selection of self-service options will allow guests to customize their hotel experience to match their individual requirements.
Wide range of additional services
The new Express Hotel will operate as a hybrid hotel: this means that check-in, check-out, room access, and all services can also be handled contactlessly. Staff will be available on-site, but if a guest wishes to use a service during late hours or when staff are busy, they can easily take care of everything independently.
The hotel’s layout has been carefully designed to maximize every square meter for guest use. In practice, this means numerous 24/7 amenities: a shared games area, coffee and snack vending machines, a beer bar, ironing and laundry facilities, luggage storage, and more.
Smart solutions at reception and for additional services help keep the base room rate affordable. Many services will be available for an extra fee, allowing guests to choose what they want to pay for.
Warm, earthy interior design
The interior design focuses on hospitality, practicality, and adaptability. Both rooms and common areas feature warm, earthy tones and a minimalist style, creating a modern yet cozy atmosphere.
The hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, Tempo, will also receive a makeover, gaining a more inviting look and a practical layout. Tempo will serve buffet breakfast in the mornings and weekday buffet lunches, while at other times it will host events and provide catering for conference and tourist groups.
In summary, the renewed Express Hotel’s strengths lie in its wide range of additional services and customizable accommodation. Guests will also have access to the services of the neighboring four-star Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel, ensuring that Express Hotel can meet the needs of travelers with very different preferences.
