Gift Card Terms of Sale

1. Gift cards for Tallink Hotels (hereinafter ‘Tallink Hotels’) can be purchased from the website https://hotels.tallink.com (owned by OÜ TLG Hotell, registry code 10952552, address Sadama 7, Tallinn, 10111 Estonia).

2. To purchase a gift card, add it to your shopping cart.

3. You can pay for the gift card using the Estonian and Finnish bank links, Visa and Mastercard cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Payments are mediated by Trustly Group AB. Payments are made outside Tallink Hotels in a secure payment environment of Trustly Group AB. Tallink Hotels does not have access to the customer’s bank and credit card details.

4. Once the payment for the gift card has been received, the gift card will be sent to the purchaser’s email address within one business day.

5. The gift card is valid for 6 months from the date of issue of the gift card.

6. Tallink Hotels gift cards are valid at Tallink City Hotel, Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel, Tallink Express Hotel and Tallink Hotel Riga.

7. The gift card is valid as a one-time means of payment for the service indicated on the card. Multiple gift cards can be used at the same time.

8. If the amount of the services ordered exceeds the value of the gift card, the customer must pay the difference. If the amount of the services ordered is less than the value of the gift card, the unused amount will not be refunded to the customer.

9. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract of sale of the gift card within 14 days as of the conclusion of the contract of sale. To withdraw, you must submit a written application for withdrawal to the e-mail address hotelshop@tallink.ee. A sample withdrawal form can be found here.

11. OÜ TLG Hotell will refund the amount paid by the buyer immediately, but no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal.

12. If some of the services indicated on the gift card are temporarily unavailable, it is possible to extend the term of the gift card by agreement with the seller or pay for another service with the gift card.

14. If the buyer has any complaints about gift cards, please send them to hotelshop@tallink.ee or call 611 8319 on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

15. The buyer can use legal remedies provided by law.

16. If the buyer and OÜ TLG Hotel are unable to resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer can contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The procedural conditions can be accessed and the application submitted on the website of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority at https://www.ttja.ee.

17. The buyer may also turn to the European Consumer Centre (information on the website http://https://consumer.ee/en/) or to the court of the Republic of Estonia.
