Pirita TOP SPA Hotel was completed in 1979, for the pre-Olympics and the first visitors arrived for the Baltic Regatta the same year. The hotel is one part of the Tallinn Olympic yachting center, established for the yachting regatta of the 1980 Olympics, held in Tallinn. This regatta was an event of historical importance – Tallinn and Estonia entered the world’s sports map.
